Evaluation

The Duke Endowment will conclude its first evaluation of the Thriving Rural Communities Initiative in October 2012. The evaluation includes survey data collected from all United Methodist Church rural pastors in North Carolina. Early evaluation work performed by the Center for Assessment and Policy Development showed that the initiative was on track and ahead of expectations in many areas, which led to an extension of the initiative through 2016.
