Gillian L. Small

Gillian earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Furman University and a master’s in Education Policy and Leadership from American University. Before joining the Endowment, she taught eighth grade English for three years through Teach for America and served on her school’s leadership team. She currently serves as the Research and Evaluation Analyst at Communities in Schools — Charlotte Mecklenburg, an affiliate of the national Communities in Schools network.
