Shaheen B. Towles

Associate Director, Communications

Towles joined the Endowment in 2022 after more than 10 years with the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation as director of communications. Towles has more than 20 years of professional experience that includes working as a television producer/writer with Capitol Broadcasting Company, a senior associate for leadership development with the N.C. Rural Center and a management consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. She holds a Master of Journalism and Mass Communication and bachelor’s degrees from UNC Chapel Hill.
