Clarence G. Newsome

Clarence “C.G.” Newsome, a triple alumnus of Duke University, is a former professor at Duke Divinity School. He served as dean of the Howard University School of Divinity in Washington, D.C., as president of Shaw University in Raleigh, and as president of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
