Rhett Mabry and Mary Piepenbring Named Vice Presidents of The Duke Endowment

The Duke Endowment has promoted Rhett Mabry and Mary Piepenbring to vice presidents.
Mabry joined the Endowment in 1992 as associate director of Health Care and assumed the role of director of Child Care in 1998. Piepenbring, director of Health Care, joined the Endowment in 2000, after seven years at Carolinas HealthCare System as vice president in administration.
According to Gene Cochrane, president of The Duke Endowment, both managers will continue directing their respective program areas, with added responsibilities. “In addition to Child Care, Rhett’s new focus includes working with the Endowment’s four program areas to encourage consistent operating practices and collaboration on numerous projects. Mary will continue to lead Health Care and will further champion the Endowment’s commitment to research and evaluation, working closely with the Endowment’s staff and grantees to achieve measurable results.”
